I’ve always loved sport and staying active. As a child I competed in acrobatics, played netball throughout school and into my young adult years, and took up trampolining while at university. As an adult, cycling and running have become my main sports of choice. Over the years I’ve taken part in countless parkruns, half marathons and marathons, as well as completing the RideLondon 100. Being active has always been a big part of who I am, so I know first-hand how frustrating it can be when an injury stops you doing the things you love.
I spent over 10 years working in London as a fashion designer, but after facing another redundancy and starting a family, I started thinking about a career change – something that genuinely interested me and would work better around family life.
Having had injuries myself and experienced lots of different treatments, I saw first-hand how much soft tissue therapy can help and inspired me to retrain.
I’m currently training in soft tissue therapy and I’m really passionate about learning how to help people feel better in their everyday lives. Whether it’s relieving aches and pains, helping someone recover from injury, or supporting them to get back to the sport or activity they enjoy, I genuinely want to help people move and feel better.

Soft tissue therapy is a hands-on treatment focused on muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia – the tissues that help your body move, stabilise and absorb load. It uses a combination of massage techniques, stretching and targeted pressure to reduce tension, improve movement and support recovery.
Unlike general massage, soft tissue therapy is outcome-focused. Treatments are tailored to how you move, where you hold tension and what your body needs – whether that’s easing pain, improving performance or preventing injury. It can be used both reactively and proactively.
Some people come in with aches, stiffness or injuries, while others use it regularly to stay mobile, balanced and pain-free. Soft tissue therapy works with your body rather than against it, encouraging natural healing, better circulation and healthier movement patterns.
One of the main benefits of soft tissue therapy is reduced muscle tension. By releasing tight or overworked areas, the body can move more freely and comfortably. It can also improve flexibility and joint range of motion, which helps reduce strain during exercise and everyday activities. Better movement often leads to better performance and fewer niggles.
Soft tissue therapy supports recovery by improving blood flow and helping the body clear waste products that build up during training or long periods of sitting. Many people also experience reduced pain, improved posture, better sleep and an overall sense of physical and mental relaxation after treatment.
Soft tissue therapy is suitable for people of all activity levels – from athletes to office workers. You don’t need to be injured or highly active to benefit.
It’s ideal for anyone dealing with muscle tightness, stiffness, repetitive strain, postural issues or general aches and pains. People who exercise regularly often use it to support training, speed up recovery and reduce the risk of injury.
It’s also beneficial for those with desk jobs, stress-related tension or mobility restrictions caused by long periods of sitting or poor posture.
